Gallery 49 is on Market Street, Old Town, Bridlington, UK

My landscape and seascape original linocuts have been available from Gallery 49 since 2008.

An inviting fine art seller based at 1 Market Place, in the historic hidden gem that is Old Town, Bridlington, North&nsp;Yorkshire.

It's always worth a visit if you're on your way to Flamborough Head or Bridlington's north beaches. Turn off the big roundabout on the A165, there's plenty of parking.

Look for this shop front right at the bottom of Market Street.

Gallery 49 have a wonderful selection of original paintings, prints, ceramics, and objet d'art over two floors, and an enthusiasm and knowledge sufficient to answer any questions you might have. They won't put you under pressure to buy something either.

Once I've finished my big project to refresh and upgrade this website, I'll reinstate the section here showing which of my art is currently in this gallery.

Visiting this Bridlington Gallery

Old Town, Bridlington is a quiet little gem tucked just off the Scarborough Road (A165) as it passes through Bridlington.

However well you might know the county of Yorkshire, this little historic part of Bridlington is easy to have missed out on.

Directions: Turn into the Old Town at the only major roundabout on the A165 in Bridlington. If coming from Scarborough, it's straight-on; if coming from Beverley or York as though going to Flamborough Head, it's a right hand turn. At the far end of the wide street with cobbles at either side, you will find the gallery. If it's not busy, you may be lucky enough to park right outside it. Otherwise there was a car park just behind the Market Place – through a gap toward the High Street end, of Market Place – the last time I checked (which is some time ago now).

Opening times: Gallery 49 is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 11:30am to 4pm (As at Jul 2019. Please check Gallery 49's website in case of changes and for seasonal opening times).
